Keep your projects in iCloud Drive
Store your projects in an iCloud Drive folder, so they are on your other Apple devices and stay safe if you delete the app.
- During setup, at Where should your projects live?, tap Choose folder and pick or create a folder in iCloud Drive.
- Skipped that step? When the Project Hub shows Your projects are at risk, tap Choose a permanent folder.
- TeXAnt confirms where new projects will be saved.
- Your projects are now ordinary folders in iCloud Drive. The Files app and your other Apple devices see them like any other folder.
- To work on a folder from somewhere else in iCloud Drive, use Open Existing Project → Open from Folder, then Open Here to work in place or Copy to Projects.
- Projects kept only in the app’s own storage are deleted if you delete TeXAnt.
- If the folder becomes unreachable, for example after signing out of iCloud, TeXAnt asks you to choose it again.
