The free trial

  • The 6 Months and Yearly plans start with one free week for new subscribers. The purchase screen shows the trial when your Apple Account is eligible for it.
  • If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the week ends, the subscription starts and you are charged for the first period.
  • To cancel during the trial, open Settings → About in TeXAnt and tap Manage subscription, or use the Subscriptions page of your Apple Account.
  • The Lifetime purchase has no trial.

Common questions

Is there a free version?

No. Without an active subscription or the Lifetime purchase, TeXAnt shows the purchase screen instead of the editor.

What happens to my files if I stop paying?

Nothing. Your projects stay on your device, where the Files app can open them under On My iPad or On My iPhone → TeXAnt, and in any cloud or Git account you used. They are ordinary .tex, .bib and image files that any LaTeX editor can open.

Can I share a purchase with my family?

No. Family Sharing is not turned on for TeXAnt.

I bought TeXAnt on another device. How do I unlock it here?

Sign in with the same Apple Account, open TeXAnt and tap Restore Purchases. It is on the purchase screen and in Settings → About.

Can I switch plans?

You can change between the 6 Months and Yearly subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings. If you buy Lifetime while a subscription is active, cancel the subscription yourself so it does not renew; TeXAnt warns you about this before the purchase.

How do refunds work?

Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. The developer cannot issue App Store refunds directly.
