Full RTL layout, auto BiDi editing, 16 project templates, and smart AI context

TeXAnt introduces full right-to-left layout for Arabic, Persian, and Urdu, per-line auto BiDi text flow, 16 project templates including 11 non-Latin scripts, and thinking depth controls for private AI.

TeXAnt continues to expand on-device typesetting and authoring capabilities for international academia.

A major highlight in this release is comprehensive Right-to-Left (RTL) support: switching the app language to Arabic, Persian, or Urdu transforms the entire UI layout right-to-left, mirroring navigation icons, opening the sidebar drawer from the right, and aligning inputs—while preserving LTR code syntax.

Inside the CodeMirror editor, an Automatic text direction mode analyzes lines independently. LaTeX macros remain isolated in LTR blocks using bidiIsolates, while prose flows natively in RTL, complete with right-aligned line numbers in RTL view.

The project catalog expands to 16 active templates, introducing a multilingual Languages starter spanning 11 non-Latin scripts (Arabic, Persian, Urdu, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Vietnamese, Hindi, Marathi, Thai) with font-picker chips and missing-font install bars, plus an Exam class template with point scoring tables and answer keys.

For private BYOK AI assistance, researchers can now tune Anthropic Claude thinking effort (Default, Low, Medium, High) and benefit from smart multi-round document context that streams line diffs and caches project preambles.
